Phrases and words like:

• Just be you

• Do what makes you happy

• Go live your life

• Be empowered

• You can do anything

• Follow your heart

are bridges to failure. And I’m kind of miffed at the older generation for being okay with them and not raising a red flag to the younger generation on why they are a bag of garbage.
