They Aren't Coming - So What Will YOU Do?
Too many of us rely on "someone else" to do it - but that is not our task. Do you agree??
To be a responsible human, no one ever tells you: “Look to see if someone else is doing it and if so, you’re all good to continue to just live for you.”
You may laugh at the absurdity and articulation of a ludicrous concept but isn’t it what we do as humans in this 21st century?
How many of us have held back from doing something because “they have government to rely on,” or “it’s not my job, someone else will cover it.”
“Someone else will take care of it.”
“Someone else will catch it.”
“Someone else will come by …”
Stop. Stop. STOP.
That is big government thinking. That is “selfish thinking.” How are YOU stepping up to the plate to have an impact on what is happening all around you?
NO ONE ELSE IS COMING. THE SYSTEMS ARE BROKEN. A GOVERNMENT PROCEDURE CANNOT TAKE THE PLACE OF THE HUMAN ELEMENT OF PARTICIPATION AND CARE.
If you see someone hurting, help. If you see someone starving, feed them. If you see something broken, fix it. If you see someone looking for leadership, volunteer to lead.
To brush off responsibility like we brush off crumbs on our sleeve is us falling short of how God would have us impact the world around us. We can do better. No, we are not the savior. We already have a Savior. But we can be His assistance in this earth to do good.
No one else is coming. Ask Him how He would have you help today.
